The 15:17 to Paris. A lot of potential that didn’t amount to much. That is pretty much what this movie is. Spencer Stone is the only one of the three who even looks like he wants to be there! The real people of the story, I can forgive their acting. Clint Eastwood is known as a director who doesn’t do a lot of takes. Combine that with the fact that these guys have never acted before and you have a recipe for what was on screen. But the other actors, the professionals, where was their acting? It often times felt nonexistent. Some of that can be laid at the feet of the screenwriter, but those actors need to bring it. Especially considering how ambitious this project was.
Sadly, they did not bring it and it showed. Watch the movie if you have Moviepass or just wait for it to come out on Redbox.
